Thanks to this course at Gender-Sensitive Education you’ll be able to learn first-hand about the concepts of sex and gender, as well as the issues relating to gender discrimination. At present, it is necessary from an early age to educate from a gender perspective. Therefore, through this training programme, you will have the opportunity to study the gender stereotypes, exploring in greater depth the models that explain the importance of certain cognitive factors in the choice of a role and in the negative and positive influences on the acquisition of gender stereotypes. Once the activity is complete, pupils will have the knowledge to express their views on topics related to micro-sexism, as well as an understanding of the ambivalent sexism.
