2. Applicable regulations
Our Privacy Policy has been drawn up in accordance with the legal provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) and Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December on the Protection of Personal Data and the Guarantee of Digital Rights.
By providing us with your personal data, you confirm that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy, and that you give your free, specific, informed and unambiguous consent to the processing of your personal data in accordance with the purposes and terms set out herein.
These privacy terms may be supplemented by the Legal Notice, the Cookies Policy and the General Terms and Conditions which, where applicable, may be set out for specific products or services, should such access involve any specific provisions regarding the protection of personal data.
3. Purposes of processing and legal bases
This section sets out the purposes and legal bases for the processing of personal data carried out by EDUCA EDTECH FOUNDATION:
· Consent of the data subject (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR):
- To provide you with information relating to the projects or events to be carried out by the Foundation, aimed at fulfilling its founding purposes and activities and, in particular, at meeting the objectives set out in the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
· Compliance with a legal obligation (Article 1(c) of the GDPR):
- To disclose information to public authorities, regulatory bodies or government bodies in cases where this is required by law, local regulations or in order to comply with regulatory obligations.
4. To whom will we disclose your data?
Your personal data may be disclosed to organisations working in partnership with the Data Controller where necessary to fulfil the purposes described above, so that these organisations may provide, through various channels, information on products and services relating to training, employment, publishing products and new technologies, as well as any information necessary to fulfil the organisation’s founding purposes and activities, whilst in all cases complying with the security measures required by current legislation on the protection of personal data, as well as the general quality and privacy policies of the EDUCA EDTECH FOUNDATION.
Subject to the provisions set out in the preceding paragraph, the EDUCA EDTECH FOUNDATION It will not disclose the User’s data to third parties beyond what is required under current data protection legislation, other than where such disclosure is made to the competent authorities when required to do so.
5. Are international data transfers carried out?
The EDUCA EDTECH FOUNDATION It will not carry out any international transfers of your data.
6. How long will we keep your data?
The personal data provided will be retained until the data subject requests its erasure. In any event, your personal data will be retained for as long as is necessary to effectively fulfil the purpose for which it was collected and for the period established by current legislation, unless you withdraw your consent or exercise your right to restrict processing. In such cases, your data will be blocked for the periods laid down by law.
7. What security measures will we put in place?
EDUCA EDTECH FOUNDATION and any other companies with which it may collaborate (where applicable) will treat your personal data with the strictest confidentiality, applying the security, technical and organisational measures laid down in the relevant legislation.
8. What rights can you exercise?
The User has the following rights regarding the processing of their personal data:
- The right to request access to your personal data.
- The right to request that your data be corrected if it is inaccurate, or to request that it be erased (for example, if you consider that it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected).
- The right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted, provided that any of the conditions set out in the regulations are met, in which case we will only retain your personal data for the purpose of establishing, exercising or defending legal claims.
- The right to object to the processing of your data, in which case we will cease to process your data, unless there are compelling legitimate grounds for doing so, or for the exercise or defence of potential claims.
- Right to data portability.
- The right to withdraw consent for each specific purpose, without this affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of consent prior to its withdrawal.

9. How can you exercise your rights?

These forms must be signed electronically or accompanied by a photocopy of a valid national identity card or passport.

10. What is the timeframe for resolving requests to exercise rights?
We will inform you of the action taken in response to your request within ONE (1) MONTH which may be extended to TWO (2) MONTHS especially in the case of particularly complex applications, and we will notify you of any such extension within the first month.
In cases where we are unable to comply with your request, we will inform you of this, stating the reasons for our refusal within one month of your request being submitted.
11. How did we obtain your personal data?
When completing the forms, tick the box “I accept the Privacy Policy” and click to submit the details, or by sending emails to the EDUCA EDTECH FOUNDATION, by using the accounts set up for this purpose, the User confirms that they have read and expressly accepted this privacy policy, and gives their unequivocal and express consent to the processing of their personal data in accordance with the stated purposes.
In accordance with the purposes set out in paragraph 2, the categories of data to be processed are as follows:
- Identifying details: first name and surname, telephone number and email address.
12. What happens if I don’t provide them?
Mandatory data will be clearly marked on the information collection forms. If you choose not to provide us with any of the data marked as mandatory, we will be unable to fulfil the intended purpose, and neither the data processing nor the provision of the corresponding service will take place. 13. Networks social
The social media profiles maintained by the EDUCA EDTECH FOUNDATION will not involve any data processing beyond that permitted by the social media platform itself for corporate profiles. The FOUNDATION You may use these profiles to inform users on each social media platform who follow your profile about your activities, events, seminars, offers, promotions or updates to your products or services, as well as to share information of interest on topics typically covered by the EDUCA EDTECH FOUNDATION. In any event, the organisation will not extract any data directly from the social network.
