The course Accessibility in architecture offers you a unique opportunity to enter a field that is constantly growing, where the demand for skilled professionals is constantly rising. Accessibility is a key factor in the design of inclusive spaces, and its importance is reflected both in the current legislation in Spain, as well as the growing social awareness of the need for an environment that is accessible to all. Throughout the course, you will explore key concepts such as universal accessibility in architecture and urban planning, and you will become familiar with the regulatory framework and the Basic Safety and Accessibility Document (DB-SUA). Furthermore, you will develop the skills to assess and improve accessibility in public, residential and heritage buildings, as well as in urban and natural environments.
