EDUCA EDTECH Foundation collaborates with Asociación Madre Coraje in the International Volunteer Week

On the occasion of the International Volunteer Week, EDUCA EDTECH Foundation and Madre Coraje Association have organized a clothing donation campaign to help the needy, in which a total of 180 kg of clothes have been collected.

This initiative has been carried out from April 15 to May 3 and the funds raised will be used to support social projects, to institutions that need them, or given to companies dedicated to the recovery of used clothing for recycling or reuse. This will be distributed to those who need it most.

Volunteering Week, EDUCA EDTECH Foundation and Madre Coraje united

On the occasion of the International Volunteer Week, EDUCA EDTECH Group has promoted a clothing drivewhich has raised a total of 180 kilos of clothingwhich will be used for humanitarian aid projects in the following countries Peru, Mozambique and Spain. This has followed the following dynamics in order not to waste any type of resource.

Once the clothing is in the hands of the association, it follows a recycling cycle:

  • If the clothing has a label, it is sent to the communities with which the association works for distribution to those most in need.
  • If the clothes do not have a label, they are sold at their permanent flea markets at a minimal price. The funds raised will be used to support social projects.
  • If it is not possible to sell the clothes, they will be donated to institutions in Spain that need them or given to companies dedicated to the recovery of used clothes for recycling or reuse.

An opportunity to come together as a team and make a positive impact on society.

Other EDUCA EDTECH Group and Madre Coraje initiatives

This is not the first initiative that both institutions have worked hand in hand; earlier this year they carried out a toy donation campaign that was very well received and participated in by the employees of EDUCA EDTECH Group, managing to collect more than 160 toys.

These were destined to children in the most disadvantaged areas of Peru, Mozambique and Grenada, making it possible to guarantee their right to be children and to nurture the illusion and happiness of receiving new toys.

EDUCA EDTECH Group is composed of a group of experienced and recognized international online educational institutions. All the entities that form it share the mission of democratizing access to education and are committed to the transfer of knowledge, technological development and research.
