Talent and digital learning: two pillars of the future of work

Digital learning and talent: the cornerstones of our organisation

On World Talent Acquisition Day and Digital Learning Week, the EDUCA EDTECH Group and its Foundation highlight the importance of attracting and retaining the best professionals, whilst strengthening digital education supported by mobile technologies.

In a labour market shaped by technological transformation, organisations face a constant challenge: to identify, attract and retain the best talento. It is no longer simply a matter of filling vacancies, but of building teams capable of driving innovation and sustainable growth over the long term.

According to the study Global Outlook on Talent Acquisition 2024, four trends are making a real difference to recruitment processes: shorter recruitment times, a commitment to inclusivity, a good work-life balance, and the integration of artificial intelligence. In fact, 60% of companies already regard AI as an integral part of their recruitment processes.

Looking ahead, talent acquisition will be characterised by agility and innovation, combining technological tools with people-centred practices. In the words of Rafael García-Parrado, CEO of EDUCA EDTECH Group, “Talent thrives in an organisation with a vision for the future where people feel they are growing, making a contribution and finding inspiration every day”.

Digital learning for a connected world

Digital Learning Week reminds us that Training is the key to securing that future for talent. It is currently estimated that, of the 7,000 million people living on the planet, 6,000 million have access to a smart device, which greatly increases educational opportunities even in contexts with limited resources.

As Ros (2011) pointed out, the development of online education has gone through three generations: the content-centred model, the virtual classroom-centred model, and the current model, which focuses on flexibility and participation. Today, the digitisation enables more accessible, inclusive and personalised, in which each student can chart their own learning path.

In this regard, EDUCA EDTECH Group has developed its own methodology EDUCA LXP, with a learning platform that incorporates artificial intelligence to personalise the learning experience as much as possible, known as MyLXP, anticipating students’ needs and improving student retention.

EDUCA EDTECH Foundation: education with a purpose

The EDUCA EDTECH Foundation is taking this mission a step further by making the education in the service of social equality. Through projects linked to the digital learning, the research Through community engagement, the Foundation aims to bridge gaps and facilitate access to decent work.

“We believe in the power of education to overcome inequalities and in technology as an ally in democratising knowledge”, according to the foundation’s management.

A dual commitment It is no coincidence that World Talent Acquisition Day and Digital Learning Week are being celebrated at the same time. Both events highlight the fact that the future of work will depend on two inseparable factors: people’s talent and the ability to learn continuously in digital environments.

EDUCA EDTECH Group and his Foundation argue that businesses and educational institutions must work hand in hand: the former by promoting strategies to attract and retain talent that recognise people as the driving force behind innovation, and the latter by offering digital learning that is inclusive, accessible and tailored to the 21st century.

In a changing global context, the challenge is clear: to turn talent and knowledge into real opportunities for everyone.
