That is why we are marking Earth Day by sharing a milestone that reflects our commitment to a model of growth that is in line with caring for the planet: We have reduced our Scope 1 and 2 carbon footprint by more than half over the past year.
This figure is not just a number. It is the result of a conscious, planned and ongoing transformation. It is proof that we can move towards a fairer, more efficient and more environmentally friendly economic model.
Corporate sustainability: how we’re achieving it
Reducing emissions is not an isolated objective, but part of a cross-cutting strategy that we have begun to implement at all levels of the group. This reduction in emissions is the result of a number of measures:
- Optimising mobility, minimising unnecessary travel and improving operational efficiency.
- Increase in energy self-consumption, which already accounts for 40% of our total electricity consumption.
- Exclusive use of renewable energy, with certified guarantees of origin for the 100% in our supply.
- Reduction in electricity consumption by 25% compared with the previous year.
- Reduction in water consumption per employee.
