The EDUCA EDTECH Foundation has played a prominent role in the latest edition of the Madrid International Week (SIM), held on 18 to 22 May and organised by CEUPE, one of the business schools within the EDUCA EDTECH Group ecosystem. Over the course of five days, students and professionals from various countries in Latin America and Europe They gathered in Madrid to share knowledge, experiences and their vision for the future regarding leadership, artificial intelligence, talent and entrepreneurship.
As part of this event, the Foundation presented the main conclusions of its White Paper 2025: «The role of online education in employment opportunities in Spain and Latin America», the first international study carried out by the Foundation based on a survey of more than 2,800 people in Spain, Colombia, Peru and Mexico.
A study confirming the real impact of online training
The white paper, which was officially presented at November 2025 At the EDUCA EDTECH building, he was now addressing the SIM students directly with a clear aim: to share with the students themselves the data demonstrating how digital training is transforming access to employment and creating real opportunities for professional development.
Among the findings presented, the study shows that online training is now an integral part of companies’ recruitment processes: Around 90% of the HR managers surveyed rate it positively when assessing candidates. Furthermore, More than 66% of companies regard continuing professional development as a priority for their teams, and online learning is emerging as the preferred method for staff training, ahead of face-to-face and hybrid approaches.
The presentation at SIM gave attendees first-hand access to this data and the opportunity to take part in a discussion on the role that digital training plays in their own career paths.

Miguel Ángel Martí closed the SIM on behalf of the Foundation
The closing ceremony of International Week was hosted by Miguel Ángel Martí Escolano, member of the Advisory Committee on Academic Innovation of the EDUCA EDTECH Foundation. With a strong track record in international marketing, higher education and leadership, and as Director of UNIMIAMI, Miguel Ángel offered a vision that linked the Foundation’s mission with the spirit of the SIM.
In his speech, Miguel Ángel emphasised that «True value lies in people: in their talent, their ability to adapt and their commitment to lifelong learning», and highlighted the Foundation’s work in «promoting education that is accessible, inclusive and in line with the real needs of the labour market».
The representative of the Advisory Committee also highlighted the Foundation’s specific initiatives — scholarships, employability programmes and partnerships with institutions — as tangible examples of that commitment, and concluded his remarks by encouraging those present to «Lead the change in your own fields, because the future isn’t something you wait for – it’s something you build.».
The Foundation, a key player in the EDUCA EDTECH ecosystem’s major milestones
The EDUCA EDTECH Foundation’s participation in SIM 2026 reinforces its role as the group’s social and educational pillar. Through initiatives such as the presentation of the white paper to students, the attendance of members of its Advisory Committee at key events, or projects such as EDTECH Generation, the AVANZA scholarships and the Academic Excellence Awards, the Foundation continues to work to ensure that quality education is accessible, transformative and aligned with the needs of society.
