In the EDUCA EDTECH Foundation We understand that our work does not end in the virtual classrooms, nor is it limited to the content we develop. Education is also a act of collective responsibility, a way of building a sense of community. That is why we actively promote initiatives that foster the values of solidarity, generosity and empathy amongst those around us. These initiatives include the blood donation campaigns hold a special place.
Not only because of the real impact they have — as they are a direct way of saving lives — but also because they enable our staff to express their commitment to society in a tangible, concrete and deeply human way.
A blood donation campaign that reinforces our values
We have recently held another blood donation drive, open to all our staff. As on previous occasions, The response has been significant and meaningful. We know that donating blood is not a decision to be taken lightly: It requires awareness, a willingness and a desire to help, without expecting anything in return.
In this campaign, we have not been aiming for figures or records. Our aim has been, once again, to create the right conditions so that anyone wishing to contribute can do so easily. Because beyond the number of donations, What drives us is to foster a culture of commitment in which every small gesture counts.
EduCARE: accessible solidarity from the workplace
From the programme EduCARE, designed to promote the organisational wellbeing, cooperation and social impact within the group; we are working to ensure that these initiatives are not the exception, but a real possibility for all employees.
We know that the desire to get involved often clashes with the difficulties of everyday life: a lack of time, travelling, and conflicting schedules. That is why we organise these campaigns directly at the workplace, with all the necessary health and safety measures, support and logistics in place. We want helping others to be simple, convenient and safe.
