The municipality of Atarfe (Granada) hosted a new edition of the 3rd Conference on Educational Innovation, an event that brought together some of the most influential voices in the national education sector. Rosa Liarte: “Technology is not an end in itself; it is a tool that comes with responsibility”
The teacher Rosa Liarte, a leading figure in digital innovation, pointed out that Technology must be integrated into the classroom in a considered manner, to facilitate both learning and teaching. In his speech, he encouraged teachers to develop their skills in using technological tools, whilst keeping their educational objectives in mind.
An inspiring closing session with César Bona: changing the system from within
One of the most eagerly awaited moments was the speech by César Bona, recipient of the Magister Award of Honour and one of the country’s most influential teachers. Bona called for a fundamental rethink of education:
“Perhaps we are still educating others in the same way we were educated. That perpetuates a system that needs to change. We must dare to transform it.”.
