We are pleased to share news that reflects our commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility at EDUCA EDTECH Group. It is a privilege to be able to announce that we have managed to save a total of 14,918 trees to date, thanks to our collective efforts and sustainable initiatives.
This achievement has been accomplished mainly through the implementation of solar panels in our facilities, which has allowed us to avoid the emission of 270,413.8 kg of CO2 into the atmosphere this year. This tangible impact represents a significant step in preserving our environment and reducing our carbon footprint.
To better understand the magnitude of this contribution, it is important to remember that approximately 22 trees are needed to supply the daily oxygen demand of one person. In addition, 0.41 hectares of forest, equivalent to three soccer fields, can produce enough oxygen daily for 18 people. This figure underscores the critical importance of preserving and protecting our forests, not only as reservoirs of biodiversity, but also as essential providers of O2.
The endorsement of ISO 14001 certification
Since 2023, at EDUCA EDTECH Group we have been committed to calculate monthly the tons of CO2 we emit into the atmosphere, setting clear reduction targets. We are proud to claim that our energy is 100% green, and this commitment is reflected in the ISO 14001 certification of our EDUCA EDTECH Building. This certification recognizes compliance with international environmental management standards, validating the company’s commitment to sustainability.
