On 5 October, the 10th edition of the ASPACE race, a sporting event that brings together hundreds of people every year with a shared aim: to raise awareness of cerebral palsy and show that, together, we can make a positive impact. On this occasion, the main aim of the race was to raise funds for the purchase of an adapted minibus designed to improve the mobility of people with cerebral palsy.
A day for reflection and action.
Today Cerebral Palsy Day, which is commemorated annually, invites us to reflect on the the importance of inclusion, accessibility and empathy in our society. It is a day that celebrates stories of resilience, dedicated families and professionals who work tirelessly to ensure that people with cerebral palsy can lead full and dignified lives. Today, we must remember that inclusion should not be a distant ideal, but a everyday practice in all areas of life: at school, in public spaces and in our personal relationships. Today, more than ever, we need to change the way we interact with one another, break down prejudices and foster a culture of respect and empathy.
The EDUCA EDTECH Foundation reaffirms this commitment, driven by the conviction that the education, technology and strategic partnerships are essential tools for breaking down barriers and blazing new trails towards a fairer and more humane society.
The transformative power of partnerships.
Cerebral palsy affects thousands of people and families in our country, who often face numerous obstacles, such as a lack of specific resources for their care and development.
