In this way, at EDUCA EDTECH Group, we contribute to the fight for gender equality in sport, viewing women’s football as an example of self-improvement, teamwork and empowerment.
We are clear about our purpose: to contribute to a healthy, equitable and egalitarian society, aligning ourselves with this initiative in relation to four of the seventeen Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)),
- SDG 3 ‘Health and Well-being’
- SDG 5 ‘Gender Equality’
- SDG 10 ‘Reducing Inequalities’.
- SDG 17: ‘Partnerships to achieve the goals’.
We recognise the vital role that women play in society; we therefore highlight the achievements and the challenges faced by women in the world of sport.
Although we still have a long way to go, competitions have become more professional, more and more people are turning up at the grounds, and television audiences are soaring. This visibility and talent are serving as a source of motivation for girls and boys, women and men. And it is already paying off: between 2016 and 2021 there was an an increase of up to 51 % in Federated Women’s licences.
At EDUCA EDTECH Foundation We celebrate the talent and determination of women in sport and in all areas of life. We will also continue to support initiatives that promote equality and well-being in the EDUCA EDTECH Group.
