Prevention of Health and Safety at Work is the set of actions and measures aimed at preventing, minimising or eliminating the risks which are present in the workplace and which may affect workers’ safety. Current regulations and modern society require not only that the relevant laws be applied, but that this be done from the perspective of the new sensitivities social, taking into account, for example, the gender perspective.
Occupational Health and Safety with a gender perspective, develops the body of knowledge required to understand the national legislation in this field and to tackle preventive measures relating to health and safety at work from a holistic perspective, taking gender into account.
