A group of Chinese A1 (Common European Framework), in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, is designed for people who wish to to get started in the study of the Mandarin Chinese from scratch. At this level, students will learn the the basics of Chinese, including the alphabet Pinyin, the pronunciation basic, and a vocabulary elementary for everyday situations, such as saying hello, introducing yourself, ordering food in a restaurant and giving simple directions. In addition, they will be introduced to concepts grammatical basic elements, such as sentence structure and the use of pronouns and verbs in the present tense. This course will provide students with a solid foundation for to communicate in situations basic in Chinese and understand simple texts.
