Education, innovation and commitment: this is how our 2025 has been

This year hasn’t just been a calendar full of dates; it’s been a journey of transformation
A year in which we have changed lives and reached out to hundreds of people, all with the same aim: creating opportunities and building a future

Thanks to the commitment of 331 people from the EDUCA EDTECH group, who have put their heart and talent into everything they do, we have achieved extraordinary things:

  • 23 activities which have had a direct impact on more than 1,200 people
  • 117 volunteers who have given their time and energy.
  • 214 participants in CSR initiatives, demonstrating that social responsibility is more than just words.
  • 608 scholarship recipients, who now have more doors open to them and more dreams within their reach.

But we didn’t stop there. We have created 60 educational resources, organised 3 TEDuca Talks to inspire and share knowledge, and to take solidarity beyond the classroom:

  • 14.3 kg of rubbish collected, because looking after the planet is also about education.
  • 19,800 ml of donated blood, because life is meant to be shared.
  • 27 trees planted, because every root is a source of hope.

All this, and much more, because When you work as a team, it all adds up

A landmark year for the EDUCA EDTECH Foundation

1. White paper: “The role of online education in employment opportunities”

The 13 November We are pleased to present our first white paper, a study analysing how online training affects employability in Spain and Latin America.
Key facts:

  • The 41.6 1Q3Q of workers in corporate environments opt for e-learning.
  • The 71.7 1Q3Q acknowledges that online training has been crucial in promoting the initiative.
This report not only provides data, but also tools to bridge gaps and promote inclusion in the workplace.

2. Strengthening the Advisory Committee on Academic Innovation

In November, we welcomed new expert members who will drive educational transformation: Miguel Ángel Martí Escolano, Florencio Vicente Castro, Isidoro González Gallego and Aitor Curiel López de Arcaute.
Its mission: to make education accessible to all and to promote decent work.

3. Activities and commitments during the year

23rd Congress on Educational Innovation: AI, creativity and bespoke methodologies took centre stage, with speakers including Nazaret Barrio, Raúl Bermejo, Miguel de Lucas and Patri Trazos.

4. Social and environmental commitments:

  • Support for Cerebral Palsy through its sponsorship of the tenth edition of the ASPACE race.
  • Participation in the 11th International Seabed and Beach Clean-up
  • Creation of the Bosque EDUCA EDTECH organised by Huella Verde in Granada.

5. Social responsibility and a culture of solidarity

Initiatives such as “The Tree of Dreams”, which made the Christmas wishes of more than 25,000 children come true, and blood donation campaigns reinforce our culture of empathy and commitment.

Looking to the future

We are publishing the Annual Report 2024 and the Strategic Plan 2024–2026, which sets out our roadmap:

  • AVANZA Scholarship Programme, which has already benefited 604 people in 2025 and will continue to grow.
  • Areas of action: democratic access to education, sustainability, technological democracy and the fight against the digital divide.

Today we are closing a chapter full of achievements, but we are not closing the book.
Every action and every person has helped to shape a story that will continue to unfold.
Education is a journey we undertake together, and innovation and commitment drive us forward.

Thank you for joining us on this journey and for believing in our mission.
