Members of the Advisory Committee on Academic Innovation: Miguel Ángel Martí Escolano

We are delighted to introduce you to the latest member of the Advisory Committee on Academic Innovation Miguel Ángel Martí Escolano, from the EDUCA EDTECH Foundation. With a strong background in international marketing, higher education and leadership, he brings to the project a strategic and global vision within the fields of education and international project management.  

Education and early achievements

Miguel Ángel Martí began his academic training at ESIC Business & Marketing School, studying marketing, advertising, public relations and business communication. He supplemented this training with a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the Catholic University of San Antonio in Murcia (UCAM). It is clear that his education has not been focused solely on technical knowledge, but rather on the broader perspective that has enabled him to thrive in complex and international environments.  

These educational milestones equipped him with skills in marketing, management and business communication, whilst also opening the door to international settings and higher education environments. This is closely linked to the Foundation and its approach, which is educational innovation in the broadest sense. 

Career and key contributions

Miguel Ángel Martí’s professional career has centred on leading strategies and campaigns for educational institutions in various international markets. At the same time, he has taught on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at UCAM. This demonstrates his commitment to management and to the transfer of knowledge.   

Among the most significant professional achievements of his career, the following stand out: 

  • Leadership in Institutional Partnerships and Global Presence. 
  • A global leader in multinational educational strategies as Director of Corporate Alliances. 
  • Participation in international higher education fairs (EAIE (European Association for International Education) fair). 
  • A leading figure in academic training in international marketing and a university lecturer.  
  • Founding Director of Grupo Global Educa. 

His profile is complemented by a strong capacity for strategic analysis, which brings added value to all the organisations with which he is involved.

The appointment of Miguel Ángel Martí Escolano to the Committee strengthens the Committee’s strategic and international focus; this, combined with his background, enables him to contribute in several areas, namely: 

  • Strategic vision: her professional experience, both as a teacher and in the field of marketing. This provides the Foundation with a global perspective, with a view to ensuring that its various projects have a significant impact.  
  • Leadership training: His experience as a teacher positions him as a bridge between theory and practice. He will play a key role in forging new partnerships with organisations in the education sector.  
  • The link between education and innovation: The combination of market demands, the dynamics of the education sector, different business models and technological innovation in recent years is key to putting together a meaningful project. 
  • International focus: Its international outlook will enable the Foundation to broaden its reach and adapt to different contexts, placing it on the global map of educational innovation.
