As we approach the end of a year full of challenges and achievements, the EDUCA EDTECH Foundation has announced two charitable initiatives that reflect its commitment to the social responsibility and the wellbeing of the most vulnerable communities.
“The Tree of Dreams”: spreading joy this Christmas
With Christmas just round the corner, EDUCA EDTECH Group has joined the initiative Tree of Dreams by CaixaBank, a charity initiative that aims to fulfil the dreams of more than 25,000 boys and girls in vulnerable situation.
Each volunteer with the organisation received an email written by a child, in which they expressed their Christmas wish.
The group’s workers cast their present under the tree located in the Educa Edtech Building, making this experience an opportunity to make the little ones’ dreams come true.
“We are extremely grateful and proud of the incredible participation and solidarity shown; indeed, thanks to your generosity and commitment, we have achieved results that not only have a positive impact on our communities, but also reflect the values that unite us as a team”
pointed out Viridiana López, Head of Human Resources at EDUCA EDTECH Group.
“Make a difference with an act of life”: Blood donation campaign
Also, last Wednesday, 4 December, EDUCA EDTECH Group organised its traditional blood donation campaign. In partnership with local health centres, a dedicated space was set up where employees and staff were able to carry out this life-saving procedure.
The group’s Chief Human Resources Officer commented on the matter, saying:
“As we do every year and with every initiative launched by our Foundation, we demonstrate that being part of the EDUCA EDTECH Group is also rooted in a spirit of collaboration.”.
A corporate culture based on empathy and solidarity
These initiatives form part of an ongoing effort by the EDUCA EDTECH Foundation for fostering a corporate culture centred on social responsibility. From collaborating with external organisations to promoting values such as sustainability, the equality and the solidarity, these initiatives aim to make a tangible difference both in the workplace and in local communities.
Viridiana López emphasised:
