And this Sunday was one of those days.

A group of colleagues from The EDUCA EDTECH Foundation took part in the ASPACE Granada charity run, an organisation that has been working tirelessly for years to improve the quality of life of people with cerebral palsy and to support their families every step of the way.

More than just a career

When we talk about social impact, we tend to think of projects, programmes and figures. But impact is also built through everyday actions. Through the decision to get up early on a Sunday, put on a T-shirt and go for a run for a cause that matters.

That is what our colleagues did. Not out of a sense of duty, but out of conviction. Because at the EDUCA EDTECH Foundation we believe that An organisation’s values are measured, above all, by what it does when nobody asks it to.

One team, one cause

The event brought together runners of all abilities, united by a common purpose: to support ASPACE and raise awareness of the realities faced by people with cerebral palsy. It is a cause that does not require grand speeches, but rather a presence, perseverance and a willingness to get involved.

And amongst our own team, a special mention goes to Inmaculada González, Quality Sales Manager, who put in an outstanding performance in the Competitive 5K: 5th in the overall women’s rankings and 1st in the women’s Masters B category. An achievement we celebrate with the same pride with which we celebrate any other success of the team, because it perfectly reflects the spirit that drives us: giving our very best in everything we do.

A commitment that never stops

At the EDUCA EDTECH Foundation, we have been working for years to ensure that education is a tool for real change. So that access to knowledge does not depend on where each person starts from. So that the values we uphold go beyond mere words and are put into practice.

Initiatives like this remind us why this work matters. Because a fairer society is not built solely through large-scale projects, but also through small gestures which, when added together, have an impact that goes far beyond the finish line.

Thank you to all our colleagues who took part, to those who cheered us on from afar, and to ASPACE Granada for allowing us to be part of this very special initiative.

We’ll keep running. We’ll keep adding to the total.

Hay días en los que el compromiso social deja de ser una declaración de intenciones y se convierte en algo tangible.
