It is a day to mark sustainable and environmentally friendly practices.  <\/em> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>At the EDUCA EDTECH Foundation, we campaign to raise awareness and promote the adoption of best practices, dispelling myths about the environment and providing accurate, evidence-based information.  <\/em> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the midst of the \u2018<em>\u2019Information Age\u2019, <\/em>the climate of misinformation surrounding the <strong>environment<\/strong> and <strong>climate change<\/strong> It\u2019s surprising.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the EDUCA EDTECH Foundation, we work every day to<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/educaedtech.foundation\/en\/green-commitment-educa-edtech-group-is-committed-to-the-environment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">for a clean and sustainable future<\/a><\/strong>Therefore, we focus on those issues that attract the most attention, which in many cases leads to misunderstandings due to a lack of information.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Furthermore, the leading technology group in online education has so far this year achieved a significant improvement in its energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions compared with 2023. This clearly demonstrates the success of the ESG initiatives proposed by the group.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Environmental fake news: myth versus reality<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <em>fake news<\/em> The concept has become more popular over the years. Whilst it is true that they have always existed, the ease with which they are created and disseminated \u2013 thanks to the technological network that surrounds us \u2013 is particularly striking today.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>EDUCA EDTECH Foundation<\/strong> has set out to put an end to these hoaxes and to promote accurate and verified information. These figures are worrying, particularly in terms of public awareness and the fight against climate change.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, <strong>70% of respondents <\/strong>admit that they could incorporate more activities into their daily lives to <strong>benefit the environment <\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of our commitment to a<strong> sustainable future<\/strong>, we wanted to do our bit by providing accurate and expertly verified information to put an end to misinformation.  <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Myth: Climate change is not the result of human activity<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our<strong> ESG<\/strong> Mar\u00eda Maestra, an expert, says that although there have been climate changes in the past, the current one is mainly caused by<strong> greenhouse<\/strong> gases produced by the burning of fossil fuels.  <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Renewable energy: a safe bet for the environment<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There is also a lot of fake news going round <strong>renewable energy<\/strong>. At EDUCA EDTECH Group, we plan to increase our photovoltaic capacity and promote<strong> self-consumption<\/strong>, which currently stands at 30%.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All with the aim of backing<strong> renewable energies<\/strong>, which are clean, inexhaustible and highly profitable.  <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Myth: everything gets mixed up in the recycling lorry  <\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another of the great environmental hoaxes is the ineffectiveness of<strong> recycling<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maria Maestra explains why the waste we put in the different bins does not get mixed up.
