A day to commemorate sustainable and environmentally friendly practices.  <\/em> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>In EDUCA EDTECH Foundation we fight for awareness and the implementation of favorable practices, dispelling the myths surrounding the environment and providing truthful and contrasted information.  <\/em> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>In the midst of the &#8216;<em>Information Age&#8217;, <\/em>the atmosphere of misinformation surrounding the <strong>environment<\/strong> and <strong>climate change<\/strong> is surprising.  <\/p>\n\n<p>At the EDUCA EDTECH Foundation we work every day to<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/educaedtech.foundation\/en\/green-commitment-educa-edtech-group-is-committed-to-the-environment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">favor a clean and sustainable future<\/a><\/strong>Therefore, we focus on those issues that generate more noise around them, leading in many cases to misunderstandings due to lack of information.  <\/p>\n\n<p>In addition, the leading technology group in online education has achieved so far this year a considerable improvement in self-consumption and gas emission rates with respect to 2023. A clear demonstration of the good performance of the ESG actions proposed by the group.  <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Environmental fake news: myth vs. reality<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n<p>The <em>fake new<\/em> concept has become more popular over the years. While it is true that they have always been there, the ease with which they are created and disseminated, thanks to the technological network that surrounds us, stands out today.  <\/p>\n\n<p>The <strong>EDUCA EDTECH Foundation<\/strong> has set out to put an end to these hoaxes and to support truthful and contrasted information. This is why we have asked our <strong>more than 800 employees<\/strong> about their perception of the <strong>environment<\/strong> and the information that surrounds them in this regard.  <\/p>\n\n<p> <img fetchpriority=\"high\" fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" class=\"wp-image-832\" style=\"width: 600px;\" src=\"https:\/\/educaedtech.foundation\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/1.png\" alt=\"environmental survey  \"\/> <img decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" class=\"wp-image-834\" style=\"width: 600px;\" src=\"https:\/\/educaedtech.foundation\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/2.png\" alt=\"environmental survey\"\/><\/p>\n\n<p>If we analyze the data, more than half of the respondents do not distinguish between <em>fake new <\/em>and truthful information. Worrying data, especially in terms of awareness and the fight against climate change.  <\/p>\n\n<p>In addition, <strong>70% of respondents <\/strong>admit that they could include more actions in their daily lives to <strong>benefit the environment <\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n<p>In our commitment to a<strong> sustainable future<\/strong>, we wanted to do our bit by providing truthful and expertly verified information to put an end to misinformation.  <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Myth: Climate change is not a human responsibility<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n<p>Our<strong> ESG<\/strong> expert, Mar\u00eda Maestra, says that although there have been climate changes in the past, the current one is mainly caused by<strong> greenhouse<\/strong> gases from burning fossil fuels.  <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Renewable energies, a safe bet for the environment<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n<p>There is also a lot of fake news around <strong>renewable energy<\/strong>. At EDUCA EDTECH Group, we plan to increase our photovoltaic capacity and promote<strong> self-consumption<\/strong>, which currently stands at 30%.  <\/p>\n\n<p>All with the aim of betting on<strong> renewable energies<\/strong>, which are clean, inexhaustible and very profitable.  <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Myth: everything gets mixed in the recycling truck  <\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n<p>Another of the great environmental hoaxes is the ineffectiveness of<strong> recycling<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Maria Maestra explains how the waste we dump in the different garbage containers does not mix.
