It is a day to celebrate sustainable and environmentally friendly practices.&nbsp;<\/em>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>At the EDUCA EDTECH Foundation, we strive to raise awareness and promote the adoption of positive practices, dispelling the myths surrounding the environment and providing accurate, verified information.&nbsp;<\/em>&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Right in the middle of \u2018<em>\u2019The Information Age\u2019, <\/em>It is surprising to see the atmosphere of misinformation surrounding the <strong>environment<\/strong> and the <strong>climate change<\/strong>.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the EDUCA EDTECH Foundation, we work every day to<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/educaedtech.foundation\/en\/educa-edtech-group-green-commitment-iso\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">to promote a clean and sustainable future<\/a><\/strong>, which is why we focus on the issues that generate the most controversy, often leading to misconceptions due to a lack of information.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Furthermore, the leading technology group in online education has managed, so far this year, to significantly improve its self-consumption and greenhouse gas emissions figures compared with 2023. This is clear evidence of the effectiveness of the ESG measures implemented by the group.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Environmental fake news: myth vs reality<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The concept <em>fake news<\/em> They have become increasingly popular over the years. Whilst it is true that they have always been around, what stands out today is the ease with which they are created and shared, thanks to the technological network that surrounds us.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>EDUCA EDTECH Foundation<\/strong> has set out to put an end to these hoaxes and to promote accurate, verified information. These figures are cause for concern, particularly in terms of raising awareness and combating climate change.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Furthermore, the <strong>70% of respondents <\/strong>They admit that they could incorporate more activities into their daily routine to <strong>benefit the environment.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of our commitment to a<strong> a sustainable future<\/strong>, we wanted to do our bit by providing accurate information, verified by experts, to put an end to misinformation.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Myth: Climate change is not caused by human activity<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our expert in<strong> ESG<\/strong>, Mar\u00eda Maestra, states that, although there have been climate changes in the past, the current one is mainly caused by the<strong> greenhouse gases<\/strong> resulting from the burning of fossil fuels.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Renewable energy: a safe bet for the environment<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There is also a great deal of fake news circulating about the <strong>renewable energy<\/strong>. At EDUCA EDTECH Group, we plan to increase our photovoltaic capacity and promote the<strong> self-consumption<\/strong>, which currently stands at 30%.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All with a view to committing to<strong> renewable energy<\/strong>, which are clean, inexhaustible and highly cost-effective.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Myth: everything gets mixed together in the recycling lorry&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another major environmental hoax is the ineffectiveness of the<strong> recycling<\/strong>.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mar\u00eda Maestra explains how the waste we put into the different bins does not get mixed up.
