On 5 June, the 2nd AiBot Experience Gala took place in the Paraninfo Auditorium at the University of Granada, where it became very clear that girls are also interested in science and technology.<\/em><\/p>\n\n

The 2nd AiBot Experience Gala, held on 5 June, could be described as the passionate gaze of each of the girls who presented their sustainable technology projects<\/strong>. This event not only showcased the innovative creations of these young women, but also sent a clear and poignant message: Girls are in love with technology<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

The event brought together 400 pupils aged between 8 and 12<\/strong> where they presented their robotics and artificial intelligence projects. The projects were also focused on sustainability and the environment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Automatic rubbish bins, self-sufficient stadiums, automated dryers, smart forests and climate shelters in cities are some of the projects presented at AiBot Experience. The common thread running through all these projects is to gain an in-depth understanding of how robotics and artificial intelligence can be key to achieving a more sustainable world<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Widespread participation<\/h2>\n\n

Eleven teams from schools in various towns in the province of Granada have taken part in this a six-month project<\/strong>. The initiative has also been supported by the The Granada Chamber of Commerce, the AI Granada Research & Innovation Foundation, the University of Granada (UGR) and the Granada Technology Circle<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

In addition, the event has received significant sponsorship, with special mention going to the EDTECH Foundation<\/a>. This foundation is dedicated to democratising access to education<\/strong>, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to benefit from the most advanced educational technologies.<\/p>\n\n

Specifically, it is strongly committed to promoting gender equality, with a focus on the professional development of girls in STEM<\/strong> (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) fields<\/strong>. Their support has been demonstrated through various initiatives designed to inspire and empower young women to pursue careers in these fields.<\/p>\n\n

The egalitarian passion for technology<\/h2>\n\n

The AiBot Experience was created with a clear aim, which is to promotes careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) from an early age, particularly amongst girls<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

In this year\u2019s edition, it has become abundantly clear that the passion for Science and technology know no age or, of course, gender<\/strong>. Throughout the presentation of the projects, the presence of women is evident in all of them, and even more so is the enthusiasm of the girls who proudly showcase their work and their passion for learning much more about this subject<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Grenada and its idyll with technology<\/h2>\n\n

Every city has its own technology; Grenada has its own, as well as that of all the others.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n

This adaptation of Antonio Machado\u2019s famous phrase captures the situation of the Nasrid city today very well. The AiBot Experience is simply yet another event demonstrating the city\u2019s clear commitment to technology<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n
