Education today is no longer confined to the four walls of a classroom.<\/strong>
These days, knowledge is conveyed through 15-second videos, Instagram Stories and podcasts you can listen to on your way to work. Platforms such as TikTok, Spotify and YouTube are redefining how, where and why we learn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In our latest episode of EdTech Generation<\/em>, we spoke to Juan Jes\u00fas Pleguezuelos, better known as The restless teacher<\/a><\/em>, a teacher who has fully grasped this transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TikTok, podcasts and new ways of learning<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Juan Jes\u00fas has thousands of followers on social media, podcasts that are on the verge of going viral, and a loyal community that is hooked on the story like never before. His approach is far from superficial: It is purpose-driven educational innovation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cA TikTok video isn\u2019t a substitute for a lesson, but it can be the perfect hook to spark curiosity.\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

With short videos covering everything from the Treaty of Versailles to study techniques, he has achieved the unthinkable: getting young people to ask for more academic content<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Handling digital formats with authenticity.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    \u201cWe are living in the age of distraction. The challenge is to ensure that people don\u2019t just focus on what goes viral, but on what is valuable.\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
