Through this space, we continue our mission to explore topics of general interest that impact our lives, from mental health and education to sustainability. Today, we delve into an in-depth dialogue on the challenges and solutions to the climate crisis with Ismael Kenneth Ortega, a leader in atmospheric science.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Ismael Kenneth Ortega is a leading scientist with an extensive track record of research publications in prestigious journals such as <em>Nature<\/em>. D. in atmospheric sciences, Kenneth is currently pursuing his career at <em>Onera<\/em>, the French aerospace research center, where he contributes to innovative research on climate change and its complex dynamics. With his knowledge and experience, Dr. Kenneth offers a lucid view on the urgencies and opportunities facing our society.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Throughout the episode, Kenneth shared fundamental reflections on how climate change is no longer a problem of the future, but an imminent reality:  <\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;I don&#8217;t know to what extent there is awareness of climate change and that there is a point where there is going to be no turning back. We&#8217;re no longer talking about the distant future, we&#8217;re talking about 2030 and 2050,&#8221; Kenneth commented, stressing the urgency to act today.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<p>In addition, the scientist invites us to explore innovative solutions, such as the reuse of resources and waste from other industries:  <\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;I think the most reasonable thing to do is to take advantage of resources from other industries, waste. But the effects they are going to have on the environment are contemplated.&#8221;  <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<p>However, he warns of the importance of doing so responsibly, always assessing environmental impacts. In this line, Kenneth also emphasized the power of citizens to influence climate change through their consumption decisions. <\/p>\n\n<p>In the scientific field, he highlighted the importance of artificial intelligence in climate change research and in the understanding of phenomena still under study, such as nucleation:  <\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;At the global climate level, there is still a lot to understand about nucleation. Artificial Intelligence helps in data analysis, as well as nucleation, we are just starting and it is very useful.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n<p>The fourth episode of <em>EDTECH Generation<\/em> reminds us that every decision counts and takes us into the aerospace sector and its advances.
