Although there is already talk of a \u00abclimate emergency\u00bb, the truth is that the future depends on our ability to radically transform the current energy model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What is decarbonisation and why is it crucial?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>decarbonisation<\/strong> is the process by which the amount of carbon emitted into the atmosphere is reduced, particularly in sectors such as industry, transport and energy. During the interview in <strong>EdTech Generation<\/strong>, Ismael Kenneth emphasised that reducing emissions involves not only technological change, but also a profound transformation in social and economic habits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u201cWe cannot talk about sustainability without addressing the challenge of decarbonisation.
