Considered the largest cemetery in the world, the Mediterranean Sea is becoming an underwater cemetery where boats try to stay afloat also in another even more dangerous sea of<strong> racism and misunderstanding<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p>It is there, in this social sea, where education is fundamental and where the work of rescue organizations such as <strong>Open Arms<\/strong> can also, out of the water, <strong>prevent the drift of those seeking a better life<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Since it was founded in 2015, Open Arms has rescued <strong>nearly 70,000 people<\/strong>, so today we have the great pleasure of inviting <strong>\u00c1ngeles Schjaer<\/strong>, <strong>coordinator of the Education Department of Open Arms<\/strong> to Generaci\u00f3n EDTECH. We will embark on the journey of a person who makes this journey and we will learn about her <a href=\"https:\/\/educaedtech.foundation\/en\/tickets\/angeles-schjaer-the-route-does-not-end-the-day-you-set-foot-on-european-soil-a-much-longer-road-begins-there\/\">approach<\/a> on how <strong>education<\/strong> can be the engine of social change.
