A lack of social understanding, a shortage of resources in the early stages and the constant need to adapt turn everyday life into a struggle for something that most people take for granted: an accessible environment where a child can learn, play and socialise without barriers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite progress in raising awareness of the <strong>autism<\/strong>, there is still a great deal of ignorance about what it really means to live with this condition. It is estimated that around <strong>1 in every 100 people in Spain<\/strong> has some form of ASD, which highlights the urgent need to improve access to resources, therapies and support for both children and their families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today, in <strong>EdTech Generation<\/strong>, we spoke to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/educaedtech.foundation\/en\/nani-casado-people-with-autism-feel-and-suffer-just-as-much-as-we-do-2\/\">Nani Casado<\/a><\/strong>, a psychologist working with the <strong>Grenada Autism Association<\/strong>, who will help us to better understand how we can improve the quality of life of children with <strong>autism spectrum disorder<\/strong> and what measures can be taken to ensure their inclusion in society.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To ensure their inclusion in society, it is essential that educational, healthcare and employment institutions adapt their methodologies and resources to the needs of people with <strong>TEA<\/strong>. Early detection, access to personalised treatments and support for families are key to ensuring a better quality of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Furthermore, the <strong>Social awareness plays a crucial role.<\/strong> Dispelling myths and breaking down barriers helps to create more accessible environments.
